まだ知られていない場所で、人と人がつながっていく。
サーフィンをきっかけに生まれた、日本とパプアニューギニアの物語。
In a place still unknown,connections begin to grow.
This is a story between Japan and Papua New Guinea,born through surfing.
② STORY 01｜出会い（原点）
すべてはここから始まった
Where it all began
この活動は、パプアニューギニア政府観光局のプロジェクトから始まった。
プロサーファーからのオファーを受け、サーフィンキッズプログラムに参加したことが、すべての始まりだった。
This journey began with a projectorganized by the Papua New Guinea Tourism Authority.
Invited by professional surfers,I joined the Surfing Kids Program—and that was where everything started.
③ STORY 02｜波
世界でも数少ない、未開の波
Rare, untouched waves
そこには、まだ誰も知らない波があった。
混雑もなく、自然のままに存在する海。
その波は、ただのサーフィンではなく、特別な体験だった。
There were waves no one had ever known.
No crowds,just nature as it is.
It was more than surfing—it was something truly special.
④ STORY 03｜人
波を越えて、人とつながる
Connecting beyond waves
言葉が通じなくても、心は通じる。
笑顔と時間を共有することで、自然と距離が縮まっていった。
Even without words,we understood each other.
By sharing smiles and time,the distance between us disappeared.

この場所に刻まれた記憶
Memories held in this land
この場所には、忘れてはいけない歴史がある。
かつて戦地だったこの地で、今は人が笑い、波に乗っている。
その対比に、深い意味を感じた。
This land holds a historythat must not be forgotten.
Once a battlefield,it is now a place where people smile and surf.
That contrastgave this moment a deeper meaning.
⑥ STORY 05｜文化
生きている文化
Living culture
この土地には、力強く生きる文化がある。
人々の暮らし、踊り、装飾。
すべてが自然と共にあり、受け入れてくれる温かさがあった。
This land is full of living culture.
Daily life,dance,traditions—
Everything exists in harmony with nature,and people welcome you with warmth.
⑦ STORY 06｜ドネーション
波はある。でも、ボードがない
Waves are there. Boards are not.
波はある。でも、ボードがない。
その現実を目の前にして、自分にできることを考えた。
サーフボードを届けることで、子どもたちに新しい可能性が生まれる。
それは寄付ではなく、未来へのきっかけだと思っている。
The waves are there.But there are no boards.
When I saw that reality,I asked myself what I could do.By delivering surfboards,new possibilities are created for the children.It is not just a donation—it is a gateway to the future.
⑧ STORY 07｜文化交流（絵手紙）
言葉を超えたつながり
A connection beyond words
言葉が通じなくても、想いは伝わる。
絵や文字を通して、子どもたちと同じ時間を共有した。
その交流は、日本へとつながり、文化として広がっていった。
Even without words,feelings can be shared.
Through drawings and letters,we shared the same moment.
That connection reached Japanand grew into a cultural exchange.

日本へ届いた想い
A message that reached Japan
パプアニューギニアの子どもたちと一緒に描いた絵手紙。
その小さな交流は、海を越え、日本へ届いた。
子どもたちの想いは、宮内庁文化祭で展示され、文化交流として広がっていった。
サーフィンから始まった出会いは、人と人、国と国をつなぐ大きな物語へと変わっていった。
Etegami drawings and letterscreated together with children in Papua New Guinea.
What began as a small exchangecrossed the ocean and reached Japan.
Their messages were later exhibitedat the Imperial Household Agency Cultural Festival,growing into a meaningful cultural exchange.
What started through surfingbecame a story connecting people,cultures, and nations.
⑩ STORY 09｜未来
未来へつなぐ
Carrying it forward
過去を知り、今を感じる。
そしてその経験を、未来へつなげていく。
サーフィンを通じて、人と人、国と国をつなぐ。
それが、この活動の意味だと思っている。
Knowing the past,feeling the present—
and carrying it into the future.
Through surfing,connecting people and nations.
That is the meaning of this project.
